OREANDA-NEWS. May 05, 2011. Please be advised that starting from May 4, 2011 the new configuration of the Plaza II gateway distribution package for clients will take effect. The new configuration employs 4 streams to exchange data with the Trading System.

The configuration will allow participants to receive data in the optimum mode and configure QoS for trading participants connected to the exchange via a leased line at the level of network devices.  In addition, it will provide an opportunity to assign priorities for receiving data streams that will result in reducing the latency range when receiving trading data.

Main changes are as follows:

Two additional direct links have been added in the file client_router.ini in order to separate data streams.  The streams are now separated in the following way:

Default link – backup streams (POS, PART, INFO, MISC, CLMONEY, INDEX, VOLAT, VM).

First direct link – main trading streams (TRADE, AGGR, COMMON).

Second direct link – submitting orders.

Third direct link – receiving historic data as to the TRADE stream (SNAPSHOT)

Please pay your special attention to the fact that no changes have been made to the business logic of the gateway functioning.

The new configuration is planned to be implemented on the Exchange servers within a month. During this period RTS guarantees the operability of both versions of the installation package.

After 1 June the old gateway version will not be supported.  Participants should update the installation package by this day.

Please also pay your attention to the fact that the gateway may be invalid after the reinstallation.  It is recommended to update the gateway before trading hours as well as check availability of the gateway before clients are admitted to trading.

Those participants who use their own access servers should contact the RTS technical support service (help@rts.ru) in order to agree upon timetable for works on servers.

Those users who use brokers’ access servers should agree with their brokers on adding new addresses and time of migration.
