OREANDA-NEWS. May 11, 2011. Total credit investments into the economy of Azerbaijan constituted 8 bln 366 mln manats. 33% of credits or 2 mlrd 760.8 mln manats were given to home economics. The amount of credits directed at the sphere of trade and services constituted 2 bln 183.7 mln manats (26.1%). 448.4 mln manats (5,4%) of credits accounted for the sphere of transport and communication, 483.3 mln manats (5.8%) of credits accounted for industry and manufacturing, reported the press-centre of CBA.

301.2 mln manats or 3.6% of credits were issued for the spheres of energetics, chemistry and natural resources, 432.9 mln manats or 5.2% for agriculture and processing, 652.6 mln manats (7,8%) for the spheres of construction and property, and 42.6 mln manats or 0.5% for other spheres.

As of April 1, 2011, 2 bln 637,1 mln manats (31,5%) of credits were short-term, 5 mlrd 728,9 mln manats (68,5%) of credits were long-term credits.

The amount of credits issued for economy by the state bank constituted 3 mlrd 020,6 mln manats (36,1%), by private banks – 5 bln 136,6 mln manats (61,4%), by non-bank credit organizations – 208.9 mln manats (2,5%).

5 mlrd 017,9 mln manats or 60% of credits were issued in manats, 3 mlrd 348,1 mln manats or 40% in foreign currency. 539,9 mln manats (6,5%) of credit investments accounted for past due loans.
