OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2011. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine initiates carrying out of qualitative variations on service of passengers of railway transportation. The project of the order "On the statement of variations in the Rules of transportation of passengers, luggage and mails by railway transportation of Ukraine" is prepared and the document passes the coordination in the Ministry of Justice and other interested establishments.

One of the proposed innovations is the sales of tickets for passenger trains of distant traffic for 90 days prior to travel. Currently, sales of tickets begin 45 days before the date of departure of the train.

In an update edition of the Rules it is provided to change regulations on return of cost of a ticket in case of its non-use. If the passenger has refused a trip during from 24 till 12 o'clock before departure of a train full cost of the ticket and 50 % of cost for a reserved seat will be returned to it. If it is less, than 12 hours - only cost of a ticket, cost on a reserved seat will not be retuned. Payment of fees for unused travel documents presented after the departure of the train will not be spent.

If the passenger will decide to stop a trip already directly along a trip cost of the ticket will be paid for not passed distance (for a reserved seat costs will not be returned).
