OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2011. The Soviet District Court in Makhachkaka allowed the claim of the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Dagestan (Dagestan OFAS Russia) and found the citation of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Dagestan unlawful, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

In April 2011, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Dagestan inspected whether Dagestan OFAS Russia was observing the Federal Law “On Protection of the Rights of Legal Entities and Individual Enterpreneurs in Course of Exercising State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control”.

Upon the findings of the inspection, the Head of Dagestan OFAS Russia, Mr. Kurban Kubasaev was issued a citation to eliminate violations of the law on state control.

Dagestan OFAS Russia found the citation conclusions regarding the procedures for inspecting economic entities unreasonable and filed a lawsuit to the Soviet District Court in Makhachkaka.

“The Court confirmed the rightness of our actions and absence of any violations in the inspections organised by Dagestan OFAS Russia. The judgment is very important for us because the citation of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Dagestan questioned legitimacy of the work of our Office”, said the Head of Dagestan OFAS Russia, Mr. Kurban Kubasaev.
