OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2011. Kyivstar topped the largest domestic companies’ rating by net profit in 2010, according to the edition "Top 100. Best Ukraine’s Companies Rating." This ranking journal has been published since 1997 by the "InvestGazeta" business publication of the "Economics" publishing house.

"Top 100. Best Ukraine’s Companies Rating" of the "InvestGazeta" business publication named the best domestic companies by net profit and revenue in 2010.

"Kyivstar" has become a leader by net profit amount in the overall rating of all the largest companies of Ukraine as well as by net profit and revenue in the branch rating of the telecommunication operators. In 2010 the Kyivstar’s net profit was 3,999.09 mln UAH, surpassing this indicator from the past year, whereas net revenue was 11,523.05 mln UAH.

In a review article on the branch rating of the telecom operators, the "Top 100" publication notes: "The main event of the Ukrainian telecom market in 2010 was a merger of the two operators, Kyivstar and Beeline-Ukraine. As a result, a major telecommunications operator has appeared in the market, who can afford establishing rules and setting the tone for the game of the other players."

Kyivstar and the Company President Ihor Litovchenko throughout the duration of many years have traditionally occupied the leading positions in a number of the TOP 100 ratings of the "InvestGazeta" business publication of the "Economics" publishing house.
