OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2011. TNK-BP announces that Stan Miroshnik, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, has taken the decision to leave the Company, reported the press-centre of ТНК-BP.

Stan Miroshnik joined TNK-BP at the beginning of 2010, prior to which he was responsible for the Russia and CIS energy investment banking practice at Morgan Stanley. Under his leadership, TNK-BP carried out several transformative acquisitions in Russia and abroad. In particular the acquisition of assets in Venezuela, which was completed in the summer of 2011, as well as transaction to acquire assets in Vietnam, which is expected to close in the near future.

German Khan, Executive Vice President of TNK-BP commented:
“We are thankful to Stan for the contributions he has made in the development and execution of the Company’s international expansion strategy. His work in preparing and completing these international acquisitions for TNK-BP has laid a foundation for the Company’s further expansion beyond its traditional markets. Mr. Miroshnik will leave the company as of 1 November 2011. In the interim, the duties of executive vice president of strategy and development will be carried out by Pavel Ilyasov, Vice President of Strategy and Portfolio Investments.
