OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2011. Prices in industry in September 2011 reduced by 0.1% in comparison with the previous month and increased by 6.9% since the beginning of the year. Prices in September 2011 reduced in comparison with August 2011 because of the reduction in the cost of exported production (by 1.1%), the National Statistics Office reports.

In comparison with December 2010, prices for industrial production in September 2011 grew 6.9 percent, in comparison with September 2010 – by 7.9 percent. Prices in the mining industry in September 2011 increased by 3.4 percent compared to the previous month, remaining on the level of December 2010 and September 2010.

Prices in manufacturing in September 2011 decreased by 0.1% in comparison with August 2011 but increased by 6.6% in comparison with December and by 7.7% - in comparison with September last year. Prices in the energy sector in September 2011 remained unchanged in comparison with the August prices, and grew 9.6 percent in comparison with December and September 2010.
