OREANDA-NEWS. November 03, 2011. From the beginning of year, the Ukrainian road builders have renewed and have opened to traffic of public motor roads of 1 510 km. For comparison, in 2009, it was opened to traffic on 92 km of motor roads, in 2010 - on 973 km.

In particular, in 2011, it is opened the unique traffic interchange on 128 km of highway Kyiv – Chop, near to Zhitomir. On the route Moscow - Kyiv – Simferopol, it is put into operation 28 km of motor road Kharkiv – Scherbacivka, in Sumy region - 88.1 km of highway M-02 of Kipti - Gluhiv - Bachivsk, in the Volyn region - 27 km of highway M-07 of Kyiv - Kovel - Yagodin, in the Chernihiv and Kyiv region - the motor road of Chernihiv - Pakul - Slavutych length of 73 km.

In addition, this year, it is opened the movement on a new built bypass of the town Babanka of Cherkasy region of the international highway Striy - Ternopil - Kirovohrad - Znamenka that connects East and West Ukraine, as well as on the roads Ulyanivka - Mykolaiv, Sevastopol, Balaklava, Odessa – Melitopol - Novoazovsk (to Taganrog) and others.

The works are continuing on the highways Kyiv - Zhytomyr and Kyiv - Kharkiv - Dovzanskiy (from Poltava to Lubny), it is under construction the entrance into Irpin, it is completed the construction of bypass of the city of Dnipropetrovsk.

By the end of 2011, it is scheduled to complete repairs on the entrances to the international crossing points Lviv - Rava Ruska, Lviv - Shegyni and open movement on motor road Lviv - Krakovets length of 54.4 km.

In 2012, the President of Ukraine has been tasked to open movement is not less than 2000 km of national highways.
