OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) summed up the outcome of an investigation of the actions of Moscow authorities that held vehicles on impound yards, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS forwarded a file to the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office that certain units of Moscow Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs unlawful unlawfully assigned the functions for organising specialised parking to economic entities.

The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office carried out an inspection, based on its findings submissions were made to “TransAvtoService” Ltd. And “Fart” Ltd.

The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office also made a submission to the Chief Officer of Moscow Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Inspection materials are forwarded to the Main Investigation Department (Moscow) of the Investigation Commission of the Russian Federation to consider opening a criminal case.

Earlier FAS called upon all interested persons to provide relevant information on the case.

Investigating the case, FAS considered petitions form the general public ho unauthorized economic entities exercised the functions of specialised parking in Moscow and fixed the rates for their services.
