OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2011. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers has stressed the output of the economy of Ukraine from the "economic impasse" - confirmation to that are optimistic data indicators of major socio-economic development for 10 months of this year, published by State Statistics Service.

The Head of Government has reported that for 10 months of 2011, the GDP growth constitutes 5.3 % (and in October – 7.2 %), industrial production - almost 9 %, agricultural industry – 16.2 %. In addition, as Mykola Azarov noted, inflation for the three last months and for 10 days of November almost zero. However, the wage bill has grown by 42 billion UAH, pension payments - by 18 billion.

The Prime Minister has also stressed the revival of domestic construction industry - is constructed more than 5 million square meters of habitation. According to him, by the end of the year, it is scheduled to construct about 2 thousand kilometers of roads - more than for the previous years combined.

"Of course, that is no reason for self-complacency, but the figures suggest that we contact you by joint efforts of all society, finally was managed to overcome slipping into an economic abyss," Mykola Azarov has noted and added: "We have started a gradual exit from the impasse, where we have been tired out the reckless policy of social populism and adventurous credit-debt, if one may say so, strategy of our predecessors."

The Head of Government has reported that this year, the Government has set the task to reduce deficit of the state budget to level less than 4 %. "Compare that with the rate in 2009 when the deficit has reached more than 19 %. The significant changes, is it whether not so?" Mykola Azarov stated.
