OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2011. TATNEFT Company participated in the 16-th International specialized exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan- 2011", which was held in Ashgabat, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

More than 160 companies from 28 countries including the USA, Turkey, China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan and other states were presented at "Sergi kosgi" National Exhibition Centre of Turkmenistan.

The forum was traditionally organized by the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan and other organizations of the oil and gas industry branch, as well as the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Turkmenistan.

The exposition display of TATNEFT included advanced developments of the Company providing for the efficient operation of oil fields. Among them there were new technologies of crude oil production, chain drives manufactured by Bugulma Mechanical Plant of TATNEFT, technologies of dual completion and production from two or more layers through one well (DCP). A significant place in the Company's exposition was devoted to state-of-the-art and more essential methods of enhanced oil recovery and advanced technologies of heavy oil deposits development. TATNEFT was awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan for participation in the exhibition activities.

"Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2011" Exhibition is intended to demonstrate the achievements of a dynamically developing industrial potential of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, as well as contribute to further enhancement of mutually beneficial partnership of the country's industry branch enterprises with leading foreign companies possessing high technologies and rich experience in implementing major investment projects in oil and gas industry.

During the exhibition, the representatives of TATNEFT also participated in roundtable discussions arranged by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation devoted to development of the oil and gas industry branch.

The round table participants discussed issues related to the results and prospects of Russian companies operation in Turkmenistan, training of personnel for the oil sector of the economy with application of innovative technologies, etc.
