OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2011. Changtian International Engineering Corporation (MCC CIE) announced that, the ArcerlorMittal Monlevade Sintering Works (198m3), which was contracted by MCC CIE in an EP manner, had been progressing smoothly, reported the press-centre of MCC.

At present, MCC CIE is cooperating with the Employer and the Brazilian logistics company on inspection and improvement of packages. All the EP Working Plan stipulated in the Contract is expected to be completed within this year.

This is the very first EP project under cooperation between MCC CIE and ArcelorMittal, the largest iron & steel giant of the world. As per the technical appendix of the contract, the newly-built AMM2 sintering plant is designed with an annual output capacity of 2.3 million tons, equipped with a sintering machine of 198m3. This works, which is characterized by a tight implementation schedule and strict assessment by the Employer, is to be put into commissioning in June 2012.
