OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2011. A delegation led by MCC Limited Vice President Huang Dan visited Namibia. The vice president was accompanied by Chairman Yin Xuezhi of MCC Communication Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Chairman Tian Ye of China 19th Metallurgical Corporation and Li Lan, Head of Industrial Management Department of MCC, reported the press-centre of MCC.

Huang Dan and her team first called on Wei Ruixing, Chinese ambassador to Namibia and economic counselor Liu Runing in Windhoek, capital of Namibia. Mr. Wei and Mr. Liu appreciated the strength of MCC Limited and assured that they would continue to support the company’s efforts to explore the local market. They also offered helpful advices and suggestions in this regard.

From Nov 13 to 16, the team arrived at Katima and toured MR 125 highway construction site, a joint venture project by MCC and RCC. They examined bidding and construction preparation work, held meetings at the site to discuss plans for next step. After that, they went on to Walvis Bay to visit the MR44 and MR67 highway projects that the company is still following up. There, they visited RCC Company and exchanged views with the senior executives of RCC on JV cooperation mode and MR125 highway project preparation.  

The visiting MCC Limited vice president met with Hon Erkki Nghimtina, Ministry of Engineering and Communications and Conrad Lutombi, Director of Highway Management Bureau. Both the officials expressed full trust and acknowledgement of MCC’s management skills and advanced technology. They said that they were reassured to see MCC taking charge of MR125 project and expected to deepen the cooperation with MCC in Namibia.
