OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2012. Floor concreting works have been completed at elevation 16 meters in the turbine building of Leningrad nuclear power plant Phase Two’s first reactor unit.

Builders poured about 2,000 cubic meters of concrete to build the floor.

TITAN-2 Holding  is one of the main contractors for building and assembly works in  construction of power units 1 and 2 of Leningrad NPP-2.

The main general contractor of the Holding is CONCERN TITAN-2 , JSC.

Construction of Leningrad NPP-2 is a part of the long-term program of Rosatom State Corporation. The construction management company for the project  is Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC. The General Contractor and General Planner of the project is an engineering company St. Petersburg AtomEnergoProject, JSC (SPbAEP) (which is a part of an integrated Joint Stock Company  Atomenergoprom).

Electric power of each power unit with the WWER-type-reactor is defined as 1,198.8 MW, heating capacity – 250 Gcal/h.The design-to-life cycle of NPP-2 is 50 years and the one of the key equipment is 60 years.
