OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2012. At the City Hall of Yaroslavl Region, a working meeting between the region’s governor Sergey Vakhrukov and NPO Saturn chief executive officer Ilya Fedorov took place.

The head of Yaroslavl Region and the company’s CEO discussed the results of NPO Saturn performance in 2011 and company’s operating plans for 2012.

Sergey Vakhrukov expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved by NPO Saturn OJSC in the reporting period emphasizing the fact that for the first time in last six years the company had finished the year at a profit.

Speaking of the plans for 2012, the parties reviewed the current status of the SaM146 program, the execution of which is under special supervision of the governor of Yaroslavl Region in coordination with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Sergey Vakhrukov shared his certainty in the successful execution of the two new biggest contracts signed in 2011, - for supply of the D-30-KP-2 aviation engines to a Chinese customer and for supply of the GTD-10RM industrial gas-turbine engines.
