At LLP "Corporation Kazakhmys" a review of the qualification of top-managers, specialists and employees has begun, for the purpose of determining and estimating their qualification for applying new tariff rates under the new job remuneration system being introduced, reported the press-centre of KASE.

One of results of the introduction of that system will be a substantial increase in employees' salaries. Stagewise introduction of the system is being carried out in the company since last summer. The review is another phase of that process and is aimed at efficient use of knowledge and skills of each employee, at opening up of human potential as one of top priorities of the human resources policy.

During the review the professional qualification of an employee is determined, his personal merits and professionalism are appraised, the depth of his knowledge and skills the need for qualification improvement are detected - as a result the employee is considered as appropriate or vice versa for his job or position. The review is supposed to cover 15 thousand employees in all operation regions with the finish set as early as the end of this spring.
