OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2012. Ural Airlines has announced its operational results for February 2012. During the last month, Ural Airlines passenger traffic has grown by 70% YOY since 2011.

In February 2012, Ural Airlines performed 1,516 flights (the figure has grown by 31% YOY since 2011). This includes 484 international flights, 675 domestic flights, and 357 flights to CIS countries. In February, 166,463 passengers used Ural Airlines services (the figure has grown by 71% vs. February 2011). 66,353 passengers travelled with Ural Airlines on international routes, 67,400 on domestic flights, and 32,710 to CIS countries. The actual passenger traffic in February equalled to 456,373 thousand passenger-kilometres, which is 87% higher than the 2011 level.

Ural Airlines carried out a total of 3,296 flights since the beginning of 2012, including 1,180 international flights, 1,380 domestic flights, and 736 flights to CIS countries. Ural Airlines passenger traffic has grown by 70% in the course of the first two months of 2012. In January and February 2010, 369,503 passengers used the airline's services. The majority of Ural Airlines passengers have flown on international flights - 162,354; 137,354 passengers used the domestic flight services; 70,091 passengers departed to CIS countries using the air carrier's flights. The total Ural Airlines passenger traffic equalled to 1,020,410 thousand passenger-kilometres during the first two months of 2012.
