OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2012. For the sixth consecutive year UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group, the bank for a changing world, will be present at the French Spring festival. Various events highlighting the latest trends in French cultural life — in the world of theater, cinema, circus, fine arts, literature and music — are planned for six major cities in Ukraine: Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.

This year Ukraine will witness the ninth French Spring festival. The festival will start with the grand opening in Sofia Square in Kyiv at 8:30 p.m. on April 4. The arrival of the French Spring will be heralded by extraordinary musicians performing the “Wild Bellmen” extravaganza, which will float in the sky, delighting thousands of spectators with the pure melody of chiming bells.

“For six years we have been collaborating with the French Institute and the French Embassy to hold this festival, which gives us the greatest pleasure. UkrSibbank, the biggest French investment in Ukraine, is glad to support this yearly festival even despite the current period of economic uncertainty. We believe it is paramount to be involved in this cultural event. The French Spring will bring the cities of Ukraine a true celebration of culture, art, and entertainment,” said Philippe Joannier, Chairman of the Management Board of UkrSibbank  BNP Paribas Group.
