They have increased USD 133,6 mln., that is 6,8%, since the beginning of the year. As of April, 6 monetary reserves accounted for USD 2 bln. 058,7 mln. They increased by на USD 108,28 mln., that is 5,5% within Q 1, 2012.

Their growth was determined by the receipt of the scheduled disbursement at USD 77,64 mln. approved by the Executive Board of IMF on February, 1, 2012 in Washington. Monetary reserves of the National Bank of Moldova grew USD 247,6 mln. (14,4%) in 2011, being USD 1 bln. 965,32 mln. as of the end of December.
