OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. The convention and exhibition elites assembled on the Taihu Lake in March, a season when grasses grow and birds sing. On March 28-30, the Tenth China Events Fortune Forum and the award ceremony of the 2011 China Convention & Exhibition Industry Golden Finger Award took place in Wuxi, a scenic city on the Taihu Lake. CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. won the “Most Valued Exhibition Company” award at the ceremony, reported the press-centre of CMEC. 

The event saw the arrival of Wei Jianguo, the former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Yu Xiaosong, Chairman of China Marketing Association, Wang Shenghong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Yuan Zaiqing, Chairman of China Convention and Exhibition Society, Xu Jie, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, and other important guests, and the participation of more than 600 representatives from the convention & exhibition industry institutions at home and abroad, the international convention & exhibition organizers, convention & exhibition venues, convention & exhibition associations, convention & exhibition enterprises and universities.

Focusing on the theme of the reform and innovation of exhibitions, the forum held a peak dialogue with the honorable guests, and CMEC was invited to attend the dialogue. On the evening of March 29, the organizing committee announced the list of the winners of the “Golden Finger Award” granted to the Chinese convention & exhibition industry in 2011 on the site of the award ceremony. CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. won the “Most Valued Exhibition Company” award.
