OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2012. "AtaBank" OJSC, Azerbaijani banking market innovator operating since 1993, has prepared the next project.  In the course of realization of the project entitled "AtaMatik" the residents of localities lacking cash machines and banking services will be rendered these services in field order, reported the press-centre of AtaBank.

With this purpose the Bank has acquired special vehicles with flotation ability at which cash machines are installed. Vehicles are also equipped with generators of an uninterrupted electricity supply and other equipment for lighting and convenient use.

To provide field catering service it was formed a working structure, consisting of the maintenance of the cash machine, operational control, safety service and driver. The pilot part of the project will be realized in village Duyarli of Shamkir region and village Zehmet of Gedabey region. Field services will be provided regularly for populated localities needing in them on the basis of the working schedule made jointly with relevant executive bodies.

In the future, to improve and expand this service coverage it is planned to buy specialized vehicles and render services in the form of field division.  Today, Baku and different regions of the country are numbering 24 branches and offices of the Bank. In the 1st quarter 2012 Bank’s net assets amounted to AZN 227.1 million, loan portfolio AZN 154.5 million, portfolio of term deposits AZN 163.4 million, overall capital AZN 30.4 million. The number of POS-terminals installed by the Bank reaches 7,000 and the number of cash machines 64.
