OREANDA-NEWS.  May 18, 2012. Oleg Smirnov, formerly chairman of the management board at DB AO Sberbank, Sberbank of Russia's subsidiary in Kazakhstan, has been appointed chairman of Srednerussky Bank of Sberbank of Russia. Shukhrat Sadyrov, DB AO Sberbank’s deputy chairman of the management board, has been appointed acting chairman of the management board, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

Oleg Smirnov was born in 1975 in the Smolensk Region. He graduated from the Urals State Economics University and holds the degree of Candidate of Economic Science. He began his career at the Urals Bank of Sberbank from where, in 2007, he moved from the position of director of the credit department to work at Sberbank’s Central Head Office as adviser to the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. In that same year, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank’s subsidiary in Kazakhstan.

Srednerussky Bank operates in the Moscow, Tula, Bryansk, Ryazan, Tver, Kaluga and Smolensk regions.
