OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2012. Avlita Stevedoring Company increased sales by 15.6% in 2011 year on year, from UAH 358.8m to UAH 415m. Net income went up 16.1% to UAH 347.8m compared with 2010.

The data are shown in the company's report 2011 disclosed to the National Commission for Securities and Stock Exchange.

"Financial performance in 2011 confirms our commitment to consistent approach, development and high achievements. Avlita's gross profit has grown 44.3% to UAH 200.9m, a fact that proves general efficiency of the company's production and business operations. Improving technology and investing in human capital we increase the equipment productivity," commented Avlita's CFO Diana Berezutskaya.

In 2011 the company's net profit, i.e. the profit after tax, went down because of higher profit tax imposed under the tax regulations amended in January 2011 (the Tax Code of Ukraine).
