OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. Expocentre Fairgrounds will be hosting the 6th International Forum of the Exhibition Industry - 5pExpo’2012.

The event is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and Expocentre Fairgrounds, with the support from the Federation Council of the RF Federal Assembly, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES).

The forum is attended by exhibition and conference organizers from Russia and other countries of the world, designers and suppliers of exhibition equipment and technologies, and other companies engaged in exhibition and conference business. Bringing all exhibition market players under one roof 5pExpo’2012 will become the central event for the Russian and international business community.

The Forum will present a great variety of exhibition and conference programmes and accompanying services; it will put on display exhibition technology innovations and provide insight into the latest trends in stand construction and exhibition design. The forum will feature a specialized Salon for event service providers and their customers.

The participants in the Forum will be able to share information about their exhibition and conference programmes and services, while prospect customers will have an opportunity to get information about numerous offers of participation in exhibitions and conferences.

This year the 5pExpo floor space has increased by more than 30%, while the number of exhibitors have grown by 40%, comprising one quarter of all Russian exhibition market players. The net floor space of 3000 sq. m will accommodate stands of 130 companies from more than 30 countries including Austria, the UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, Romania, the USA, Turkey, the Czech Republic, the South African Republic and many others.

Most reputable associations of the exhibition industry will take part in the show. Among them are the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES), the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF), exhibitors’ and industry associations, trade unions, and chambers of commerce and industry from Russian regions and other countries.

So many companies and associations attending the event allow arranging professional communication, opinion and knowledge sharing, and broad discussions of numerous issues concerning the development of the exhibition industry.

The seminar programme of the Forum, with a broader spectrum of issues to be discussed, will respond to the interests of organizers, exhibitors and visitors of exhibitions.

It will feature the 4th Russian conference Exhibitions, Trade Fairs and Conferences: Regional Priorities to be attended by leading Russian and international experts.

This year, Russia for the first time will host the annual meeting of the International Association of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) as part of the 5pExpo Forum. IFES will also act as a co-organizer of the International Congress East to West, West to East: Global Trends in Exhibition and Conference Business.

5pExpo’2012 will see the launch of a new project - Expodesign’2012: Best Russian Exhibition Stands Competition –by Expocentre Fairgrounds, NP Vysoky Dizayn and ZAO Expoconsta.

In addition to that the programme of the Forum will include conferences, seminars, master classes and presentations about the development of the global and Russian exhibition and conference market, a well as modern trends in exhibition stand building and design, new exhibition technologies and other important industry issues.
