OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. The Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Igor Artemyev signed an order appointing Armen Khanyan the Head of FAS Department for Control over Foreign Investments, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.  

Earlier Armen Khanyan was Deputy Head of FAS Department for Control over Foreign Investments.

In 2000, Armen Khanyan graduated from Russian Customs Academy specializing in “Economics and Company Management”, and in 2008 completed a Master’s Degree programme at European College at Moscow State Institute of International Relations, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Relations, specializing in the policy European Union. He was awarded a Master’s Degree in International Relations and a Degree of the Candidate of Science in Economics.

Mr. Khanyan has publications on the issues and problems of attracting foreign investments, and is the author of a book: “Russia and WTO: Global and Domestic Experience of Stimulating and Regulating an Inflow of Foreign Investments”.

Armen Khanyan has been working for FAS Russia since 13th October 2008.
