OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2012. PrivatBank provides customers with an opportunity to withdraw cash from ATMs without a bank card in Ukraine as well as abroad - in Russia and Georgia. Now, in case of unforeseen circumstances or if you just don’t have a card on hand you can withdraw money from our ATMs abroad. You can order the service having called the bank or sent an SMS with a special code.

‘Any Ukrainian customer while staying in Russia or Georgia is able to withdraw money easily without presence of a bank card or, for example, a cardholder from Russia, being in Ukraine, is able to withdraw cash urgently in the same way,’ said Yuri Kandaurov, PrivatBank Deputy Chairman. ‘We want PrivatBank customers to feel our support and know that they can get access to their money abroad at any time in case of unforeseen circumstances.’

The "Urgent Cash" service is available to Ukrainian citizens and citizens of Russia and Georgia that are in any of these countries. In order to get cash without a card you need to call the service center or send a short SMS from mobile phone. After a full identification, a customer receives an SMS from the bank with a secret code to be typed with ATM’s keyboard to withdraw money. You can also tell the code to your relatives abroad and they can withdraw money from any ATM as well as usual money transfers.

The technology of urgent cash withdrawal from ATMs abroad has several levels of security that minimize risks of unauthorized access to the account. Besides SMS passwords, the amount available for withdrawal is restricted (in Ukraine - UAH2,000, Russia - RUR5,000, Georgia - GEL200). All ATMs are equipped with constantly working video cameras.
