OREANDA-NEWS.  September 10, 2012. During a working visit to Kharkiv region, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has opened the second stage of the Yulivske oil and gas deposit – the booster gas-compressor station at gasindustrial administration Shebelinkagasvydobuvannya [subsidiary "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz Ukraine".

"I would like congratulate you on the opening of the second this year booster gas-compressor station that enables us to solve problems, firstly, the increase in gas production, which for us is very important, and most importantly - to ensure Ukraine's energy independence," Mykola Azarov underlined.

At that he assured the Government would further pay great attention to the development of projects on increasing hydrocarbon production and implementation of energy efficiency projects.
"The putting into operation of modern stations makes it possible us not only to create new jobs, but also to increase the operating efficiency of our old fields, to increase the volume of gas extraction," Mykola Azarov emphasized.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister requires when developing new deposits and construction of gas-compressor station there were most used new domestic technologies and equipment.

He said the second stage of construction of the booster gas-compressor station would stabilize gas extraction of the Yulivske oil and gas deposits in the amount of 100 million cubic meters per year, enabling increment the production of propane-butane up to 10 thousand tons per year.
