The Crossbeam RT X Series platform allows the McAfee Firewall Enterprise to reach carrier-class performance of up to 40 gbps while inspecting application traffic and to demonstrate scalability and redundancy at the level sufficient for large enterprises and service providers to protect their networks.

The next-generation McAfee firewall creates unprecedented opportunities for monitoring internal and external threats and vulnerabilities and for improving customer security.  It enables the customers to reliably and securely support high growth rates for Web applications in their networks and to remain fully compliant to legal and regulatory requirements.   Today McAfee Firewall Enterprise protects 15,000 networks worldwide, including several networks of government agencies with the highest possible security requirements, as well as the networks of sever out of ten world's largest financial institutions.
