CR Division Head Kim Eunkyu said, ``In a multicultural era, we are participating in solving major social issues through activities that help wedded immigrants and their second generations settle in Korea, and operating social companies to create jobs for vulnerable classes,`` and added, ``As `sharing` is now settled in as a corporate culture of POSCO, employees are proactively participating in volunteering and donations by participating in 36 hours of volunteering each year and donating 1% of their wages.``

POSCO and investing companies have been gathering 10 billion KRW in donations each year since 2007 to help neighbors in need, and operate the POSCO Family Volunteer Corps in Pohang, Gwangyang, Seoul, and Incheon to carry out various volunteer activities needed by each regional society.
