OREANDA-NEWS. January 10, 2013. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said the priorities for 2013 to revitalize economic development and he also give appropriate instructions to the First vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In particular, the First vice Prime Minister was charged to monitor the implementation of the import substitution program in Ukraine, which is very important to stimulate domestic production and create jobs in Ukraine and to reduce the negative balance of external trade balance.

Serhiy Arbuzov, moreover, was also instructed to control the issue of effective regulation of state tariff policy and implement strict control over the presentation and analysis of the financial plans of enterprises in the state sector, which will allow more efficiently use public funds.

Mykola Azarov also stressed that the First vice Prime Minister has to provide a higher level of executive discipline of authorities. According to the Head of the Government we have still significant amount of outstanding decisions and orders. Serhiy Arbuzov is instructed to analyze the state of implementation of tasks set by decrees and orders of the President, the Laws of Ukraine and government’s regulations; he also has to provide weekly supervision. This will raise the level of executive discipline.
