OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2013. Cambodian Intercon Sub-branch, which is the first sub-branch set by Bank of China Phnom Penh Branch , officially opened for business recently, reported the press-centre of BOC.

In recent years, Phnom Penh Branch has been actively expanding into the Cambodian market, deepening services for the Chinese funded enterprises and local enterprises in Cambodia, providing UnionPay dual currency (USD and RMB) debit cards, and launching electronic channels of ATM. At present, Phnom Penh Branch takes the lead among local commercial banks in terms of the number of customers, total amount of assets and deposit balance.

Phnom Penh Branch, established on December 8, 2010, is primarily engaged in corporate banking, trade finance, personal banking, global financial markets businesses, etc. The opening of Intercon Sub-branch will further extend the service radius of BOC in Cambodia and facilitate trade investments between China and Cambodia and meeting public financial demands.

As a Chinese funded commercial bank with the highest globalized network, BOC has its overseas institutions covered Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and 35 countries.
