By the results review contest for the best inventions, rationalization and patent licensing work arranged by the Society of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tatarstan JSC TATNEFT has been named the winner among 30 companies, organizations and institutions in Tatarstan.

The objectives of the republican contest include development and intensification of the mass invention and innovation movement and promotion of scientific and technical creative activities in Tatarstan.

The honorary title of "Best Company for invention and rationalization in 2012" with the award of the Grand Cup and Diploma of the Republican Council of the Society of Inventors and Innovators of Tatarstan has been awarded to TATNEFT for the tenth time for its high innovative activities.

Small Cups of the Society of Inventors and Innovators of Tatarstan for the best results in invention and innovation activities have been awarded by the work results contest among the structural divisions of JSC TATNEFT to NGDU "Almetyevneft" and TatNIPIneft.

There were 11,562 innovations, inventions, utility models and computer programs put into production in 2012 at JSC TATNEFT and 246 patents for inventions and utility models were obtained.
