OREANDA-NEWS. In June 2013 Ukraine International Airlines initiated a large-scale sociological study of Ukrainian passenger air transportation market on the Internet.

The study was conducted by iVOX Ukraine using survey technique. Full-aged residents of Ukraine who made use of any Ukrainian carrier at least once over the last year took part in the poll.

According to the survey results 62% of respondents fly at least once per year. Being the residents of large cities (23% respondents reside in cities with over 0.5 million people population) men and women aged 30 - 44 years (22% of them use airline services three or over times per year) are top-flyers.

In terms of actual use of UIA became the undisputed leader of Ukrainian air transportation market in terms of actual usage. Those participating in the survey named the airline’s flexible pricing policy, web check-in and seat selection opportunities, cabin crew friendliness and cleanliness, and beneficial Panorama Club UIA loyalty program among UIA key competitive advantages.
