OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2013. As at the beginning of July, 49.76 million euros worth of Estonian kroons have still not been exchanged.

The Baltic News Service (BNS) published an erroneous statement on Sunday, stating that 49.76 million kroons have not been exchanged.

Until the end of 2013 Estonian kroons can be exchanged for euro free of charge at the central rate of 15.6466 at the Eesti Pank Museum, as well as in all cash-handling branches of Swedbank and SEB. From 2014 it will be possible to exchange kroons for euro only at the Eesti Pank Museum.

The service is free of charge; kroons will be exchanged at the central rate in unlimited amounts for an unlimited time. The Eesti Pank Museum (Estonia pst 11, Tallinn) is open from Tuesday to Friday 12 noon–5 p.m. and on Saturdays 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
