DIXY Group (RTS, MICEX: DIXY) - one of Russia’s leading retailers of foods and everyday products - today announced revenue growth of 23.9% in Russian rubles (26.3% in USD) in June 2013, and retail revenue growth of 23.3% in Russian rubles (21.8% in USD) for the first six months of 2013.

For the first six months of 2013, DIXY Group Revenue increased to RUR 87.4 bln (USD 2.8 bln) by 23.3% in RUR (21.8% in USD) year-on-year.

Please, note that our stores operated 2 days less for the first six months of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012:

The stores were closed for New Year holiday on January 1, 2013, but were opened on January 1, 2012.

The stores operated one day less in February 2013 compared to last year, as 2012 year was a leap year.

The two-day difference affected the Company’s revenue growth for the first six months by 1.4% year-on-year.

Thus, the revenue growth for the first six months of 2013 adjusted for the two-day difference would be 24.7% year- on-year in rubles.

In June 2013, DIXY Group Revenue increased to RUR 15.0 bln (USD 463.5 mln) by 23.9% in RUR (26.3% in USD) year-on-year.

Retail revenue of DIXY neighborhood stores increased to RUR 11.4 bln (USD 354.4 mln) by 50.1% in RUR (53.0% in USD) in June 2013 compared to June 2012. The growth was driven mainly by DIXY chain organic expansion, and helped by re-branding of ex-Victoria neighborhood stores into DIXY banner throughout 2012.

Retail revenue of Victoria Division decreased to RUR 2.0 bln (USD 62.6 mln) in June 2013 from RUR 3.1 bln (USD 95.4 mln) in June 2012. This decline was caused mainly by Victoria neighborhood stores transfer into DIXY banner in 2012, which led to the reduction of the neighborhood stores number in Victoria Division to 45 stores in June 2013 from 186 stores in June 2012. As a result, retail revenue from Victoria neighborhood stores decreased year-on-year by 78.0% in RUR (77.6% in USD) to RUR 395.5 mln (USD 12.2 mln) in June 2013.

In June 2013, retail revenue from Victoria supermarkets amounted to RUR 1.6 bln (USD 48.4 mln), demonstrating 23.4% growth in RUR (25.8% in USD).

Retail revenue from cash&carry store CASH amounted to RUR 65.6 mln (USD 2.0 mln) in June 2013 compared to RUR 78.7 mln (USD 2.4 mln) in June 2012.

Retail revenue of Megamart Division increased to RUR 1.4 bln (USD 42.2 mln) by 16.2% in RUR (18.5% in USD) year-on-year in June 2013. The growth was driven mainly by MegaMart compact hypermarkets retail revenue, which increased to RUR 1.1 bln (USD 32.9 mln) by 14.9% in RUR (17.1% in USD). MiniMart stores retail revenue increased to RUR 300.0 mln (USD 9.3 mln) by 21.3% in RUR (23.6% in USD).
