OREANDA-NEWS. October 03, 2013. A German-language customer service call center was opened in Voru recently, with 18 fresh employees now in training.

The center was established by Danpower, the parent company of Voru's municipal heating service, which is in turn owned chiefly by the German municipal utility Enercity. The calls handled will be coming in from Enercity's customers in Hannover.

"Customers call on the phone or get in touch by e-mail to get information on contracts, bills, and all kinds of address or account changes. They will call a given number but won't know if the call is going abroad - if it's going to Estonia or to Germany," said customer service representative Eleri Hunt.
