OREANDA-NEWS. Vale registered excellent operational results in the third quarter of this year in several of its production systems. The expected recovery in shipments of iron ore and pellets - adding up to 83.6 million metric tons, the third highest volume in our history - and their higher prices were the main factors responsible for the results achieved in the period.

According to Integrated Planning Supervisor Vitor Borlini, these records are mainly due to the dedicated efforts of all the teams involved in the business - Mine, Railway, Port, Pelletizing, Commercial and Planning.

“These results are a reflection of our constant concern to develop an integrated ferrous metals and logistics strategy, with the aim of guaranteeing the functioning of operations at their maximum capacity,” says Borlini.
