OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2014. Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) held a round table on investment potential of the Orenburg region. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, and Yuriy Berg, Head of the Orenburg region, took part in the meeting. The round table was also attended by investors, RusAg’s and regional ministries’ management.

RusAg, as on previous occasions, provided location for holding the round table that became a dialogue forum between the region’s administration and business to discuss the increase in investment attractiveness of Russian constituents. During such meetings regional governors have an opportunity to directly present current investment projects, economic potential and state support measures available to investors in their regions, as well as to touch upon issues related to financing certain industries of the regional economy.

“The Orenburg region is one of key and long-standing partners for the Bank”, Dmitry Patrushev said. “I believe that cooperation between RusAg, the regional administration and investors is long term and strategic in nature and will contribute to upgrading the agribusiness infrastructure towards ensuring the country’s food security. Besides actively taking part in new agribusiness projects, the Bank is ready to invest in construction, processing, and power industries.”
