OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2014. An investment event, Moldova Business Week, will be held in Chisinau on 5 – 11 June, according to a decision approved by the cabinet.

Economics Minister Valeriu Lazar said the goal of the business week was to promote Moldova’s image abroad and attract foreign investment during the government meeting.

Moldova Business Week will include the Exporters Forum, Vienna Economic Forum (VEF), as well as roundtables on prospects for the development of regions in 2014.

VEF was founded in 2004 and is one of the leading European non-governmental associations, the main objective of which is to promote investments in the region of the countries stretching from the Adriatic to the Black Seas.

The expenses for organising and conducting Moldova Business Week 2014 amount to 300,000 lei and will be covered within the Export Promotion programme. At the same time, about 23,000 euros will be spent from government‘s reserve fund to organise the Vienna Economic Forum in Chisinau.
