OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2014. FAS Centre for Education and Methodics brought together “cartel fighters” from all over Russia
FAS Centre for Education and Methodics (Kazan) organized two workshops on “Anticompetitive Agreements” for FAS officers. During two weeks experts of FAS Anti-Cartel Department trained representatives of all FAS regional Offices and some units of the Central FAS Office under a qualification-advancing progamme.

The principal lectors at the workshops were the Head of FAS Anti-Cartel Department, Andrey Tenischev, as well as his Deputies, Pavel Samolysov, Konstantin Alyoshin and Mukhamed Khamoukov.

Participants discussed theoretical problems and judicial practice, exchanged experience in exposing cartels and other anti-competitive agreements.

Deputy Head of FAS, Alexander Kinev, awarded Diplomas to the workshop participants.

“FAS has been able to form a mechanism for rendering methodological assistance to the officers of the Antimonopoly Service in the regions”, said Alexander Kinev. “Such workshops not only increase professional level of our specialists but also enhance efficiency of the entire system of anti-cartel efforts in Russia”.
