OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2014. The EXPOMIN 2014 was successfully concluded at Espacio Riesco International Convention Centre in Santiago, the capital of Chile. As one of the subsidiaries of MCC Group and a renowned non-ferrous metallurgical enterprise of China, China ENFI Engineering Corp. (ENFI) participated in this fair and attracted keen attention from the international industries.

EXPOMIN is hosted by FISA S.A., which is a leading organizer of national and international fairs, trade shows and congresses, and supported by the governmental organizations such as the Ministry of Mines, Chilean Mining Industry Committee and Chilean National Copper Association. This fair is convened every two years, with duration of one week. EXPOMIN is one of the largest mining trade shows in the world, through which the whole world can provide machinery, equipment, technology, service and supplies for the mining industry of Latin America. It has established high recognition with remarkable influence power due to the experiences in the past over two decades. It ranks No. 1 in Latin America and No. 2 in the world in terms of exhibition scale and participant amount. Now it has built up a relatively stable and wide technical and commercial network.

At the fair of this year, more than 1,400 enterprises from nearly 40 countries/regions (including Chile, USA, Germany, Britain, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Peru and Bolivia) took part in the exhibition, and there are also over 60 exhibitors from China. The business scope covers over 4,000 brands of technology, equipment, machinery, service and products in the mining and smelting fields. The fair attracted more than 80,000 visitors, covered an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters. During the event, seminars and professional forums were held on international mining industry development and technology for officials, experts and enterprise representatives from various countries.

The exhibition stand of ENFI attracted extensive attention worldwide. At the opening ceremony on April 21, Ms. Aurara Williams, the Mining Minister of Chile, Ambassador Yang Wanming and Counselor Liu Rutao of Chinese Embassy in Chile, visited ENFI’s stand and were briefed about the corporate profile. On April 24, the local media agencies conducted interview at the stand of ENFI, learning about the business development of ENFI and its views and expectation on the mining market in Chile.
