OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2014. Public Service Reform of Kazakhstan has received the highest praise from international experts. This has been stated by Chairman of steering committee of regional hub in public service in Astana Alikhan Baimenov, speaking at the international conference "Innovative approaches to the development of public servants".

"Eurasian week OECD was held in Paris from 24 to 27 November. Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development brings together 34 the world's most developed countries," A. Baimenov said.

According to him, Kazakhstan has achieved a new level of cooperation within the organization for today.

"At a special meeting of the OECD Anti-Corruption Network Public service reform of 2013 and a new model of public service of Kazakhstan have been noted as a vivid example of promoting meritocracy, transparency in terms of anti-corruption policy. Public service Reform of Kazakhstan and a new model of public service are highly prized by international experts," A. Baimenov said.

According to him, in the public service Kazakhstan has taken very much effort, and due to political will of the President, two phases of reforms have been carried out in Kazakhstan, and now not only OECD experts, but also experts from the UNDP, the World Bank note the significant achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of public service.
