OREANDA-NEWS. Within February 18−22, 2015, the ANTONOV Company delegation will take part in the AERO INDIA - 2015, that is going to be held in Bangalore, India. ANTONOV is connected with this country by more than 45 years of fruitful cooperation.

At the AERO INDIA - 2015 ANTONOV presents advanced programs based on its experience in field of transport, regional passenger and special purpose airplanes development. Among these aircraft features is ability to be operated under various weather and climatic conditions and from/to various airdromes including unpaved and located in mountains.

They proved their efficiency in India with adverse climatic conditions and numerous airdromes located in high mountains. AN−32 aircraft take a particular place among ANTONOV aircraft being operated in this country. They perform missions of both military and civil organizations.

At present, ANTONOV is working on further development of the AN−32 program. A new version of the aircraft with western−produced engines and avionics is being developed. It is intended for carrying people and various cargoes on short− and medium−haul air routes as well as for their aerial delivery. From its predecessor it will differ with improved technical and operational characteristics, including increased payload and flight range, "glass" cockpit and upgraded control system, high fuel efficiency, low noise and emission level.

In the transports' segment ANTONOV also presents the project of the AN−178 freighter. This medium transport aircraft with a rear cargo ramp powered by two by−pass jets has a payload up to 18 t. It is intended for transportation of various cargoes in bulk, including post mail, or freights packaged in aviation and universal (marine) containers, on cargo pallets, as well as light self−propelled and non self−propelled vehicles. Besides, the AN−178 will be able to be effectively used in emergency situations.

Within realization of the Indian program of future civil aircraft the experience of the AN−148/AN−158 regional jets family can be implemented. Its basic versions are operated in four countries of the world, in a wide spectrum of the weather and climatic conditions. They work equally well from the RWs of the best airports of Europe and from the unpaved runways. Conducted tests proved capability of the airplanes of the family to be based on high mountains airdromes located at 4000m above sea level that is especially actually for conditions of operation in India.

The high−comfortable airplane AN−148−100EA and the convertible ambulance AN−148−100EM certified and entered into operation as well as the perspective maritime patrol version will be presented for attention of the AERO INDIA visitors.

One of the directions of further cooperation between ANTONOV and Indian partners can be joint creation of flight simulators for training of pilots for the upgraded AN−32 operated in India. Development of the flight simulators is an integral part of ANTONOV's activity on aircraft creation. Recently the company's great experience in this field was embodied in development of the "D" level complex simulator of the AN−148/AN−158 aircraft.

ANTONOV is sure, AERO INDIA - 2015 will become a new important step towards development of new joint projects between India and Ukraine.
