OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2015. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk held a meeting with Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov and commissioned him to take immediate steps to ensure tax debts to the budget to be settled.

The Head of Government noted that the overall tax debt of all business entities before the state budget makes up UAH 55 billion. Meanwhile, restructuring of tax debts is possible only for those companies that are able to pay off their debts and have temporary liquidity crisis. And only on conditions determined by law.

The Prime Minister named distinct conditions to carry out debt restructuring: "Upon payment of 36% annual interest on the restructured tax debt, a clear repayment schedule and the mandatory imposition of a tax lien on the assets of a relevant tax payer until the date of full repayment of debts to the budget."

Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed the Head of the SFS to hold a meeting with all the major debtors to the state budget of Ukraine and to clarify the Government's position.
