OREANDA-NEWS  The Polish plant of the South Korean company LG has begun to install Smart TV software adapted to the Russian market on its televisions. Kommersant writes about this.

According to the publication, a separate TV production line for the CIS, including Russia, was created at the factory in Mlava.

"The fact is that televisions that are not adapted to our region can only broadcast terrestrial television, and Smart TV does not work on them," explained the interlocutor of Kommersant.

An employee of one of the Moscow stores selling LG products confirmed that all TVs sold on the network are supplied from Poland with a working Smart TV function.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Russia reported that the domestic Restore app store will be pre-installed on devices in the country. The department explained that technical devices mean smartphones, tablets, computers, as well as televisions with Smart TV function.
