Paramount caused a stir a few weeks ago when it became known that the sci-fi action movie "Infinity" will not be released in the cinemas, but exclusively on the streaming service Paramount +.

It was subsequently revealed that the studio did not consult with director Antoine Fuqua or lead actor Mark Wahlberg about the decision, clearly ignoring such a decision recently made by Warner Bros.

In fact, this is the first truly major project to be exclusive to the Paramount + service, as the emerging platform seeks to gain a foothold in the streaming wars, and Infinity can help. Although for the most part it promises to be a typical middle-class action movie, the  mere fact of presence of Mark Wahlberg in the title role generates a certain interest.

The release of the picture is scheduled for June 10, 2021.
