OREANDA-NEWS  The government will send more than 1 billion rubles to Kamchatka to cover the region's fuel needs during the winter season, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"We will send it to the Kamchatka Territory... more than 1 billion rubles more. This will help to meet the region's fuel needs during the winter season," Mishustin said at a meeting with the Cabinet.

The funds will be used to purchase fuel oil, which will ensure the stable operation of boilers and CHP plants for heat and electricity supply.
