OREANDA-NEWS   Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina hopes that the Russian company Gazprom will remain the main supplier of gas to the entity, Petar Jokic, Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told RIA Novosti.

"We want and expect that in the future we will have the opportunity for Gazprom to remain the main player in gas supply to the Republika Srpska market," he said in an interview with the agency on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week.

Cooperation between Banja Luka and Gazprom is carried out on very favorable terms, said Jokic.

"Every year we negotiate with our partners on gas supplies to Republika Srpska. Every year we always review, amend, and revise these agreements as needed. This cooperation has been carried out successfully to this day. It is approved at the highest political level every year," the minister added.
