OREANDA-NEWS  The conflict in Ukraine can be resolved, however, without Zelensky, US President Donald Trump said on Friday.

"I think they will eventually find a solution in one form or another. But it will be without him, as he does not want a settlement," he said in an interview with Newsmax.

Commenting on the journalist's words that Trump had unsuccessfully asked Zelensky not to hit Russian refineries, the American president stressed that it was "difficult for us to deal with the Ukrainian president."

"He only says that he wants to find a peaceful solution, but in fact, these are just words. I can't call myself a big Zelensky fan," the US president added. In his opinion, under Zelensky, "they destroyed their own country."

The Crimean Peninsula is the most valuable territory that Ukraine had, US President Donald Trump suggested.

"Crimea was their most valuable territory, and by a wide margin," Trump said in an interview with Newsmax. Explaining his point of view, he added that Crimea is "washed by the ocean on four sides."

"I was involved in real estate, so I see when the territory is good, I see it," said the American president.
