OREANDA-NEWS The candidate for deputy from the "Student List" that won the elections in Serbia, professor of the Mining and Geological Faculty of the University of Belgrade, Dejan Radivojevic, said that the country should conclude a long-term gas supply agreement with Russia after the expiration of the current agreement on December 31. His words are quoted by TASS.

Radivojevich stressed that the experience of short-term extensions shows that they do not provide the necessary stability for the country and its economy.

"It is necessary to strive to conclude a multi—year agreement, for example, designed for three years, in which volumes, prices, and delivery schedules will be clearly defined," he urged.

On October 29, the Student List party announced its intention to send a delegation to Russia. Radomir Saicic, a candidate for deputy, said that the negotiations would touch upon the issues of gas agreements.
